I got my daily affirmation from Meg today at breakfast. While she was standing on her stool watching the egg fry she looked over at me and said, "Daddy, I'm glad you're here".
Bonus affirmation (and quivering bottom lip moment) when at dinner she said, out of blue, she said, 'Daddy, you're my best friend."
